Here is the Genki-Do version of the healthy eating plate. The image is not meant to provide an exhaustive list of dietary options. However, it was my feeling that newcomers to the health & fitness scene need a good jump off point that won’t lead them astray (as the ‘standard’ healthy eating plate may). So, before you start researching the latest fad diet to help you trim down for summer, ask yourself “am I eating the Genki way?” If not, try building your meals based on the above image and see the difference it’ll make.
