Of Women & Weights
Building a body like the one seen on the left requires testosterone (in the form of anabolic steroids) … and lots of it! Women have, on average, approximately 10 times less testosterone than men. The lack of significant quantities of this hormone in combination with estrogen (which tends to hinder muscle growth) are two of the biggest reasons why women shouldn’t hesitate to take up strength training for fear of getting ‘bulky’ or ‘masculine’.
