Correct Deadlift Form



When learning a new movement, we all require coaching to ensure that our form does not predispose us to injury. The above image exemplifies the ideal form for the traditional dead-lift. Remember: check your ego at the door when dead-lifting. Progression with the weight will come quickly once you’ve mastered correct technique. The most important thing with any exercise, is to ensure that the movement is targeting the areas it is intended to. This will help to avoid pulls, tears, strains and sprains which can set you back in achieving your health & fitness goals.
